Commission for @bronzeagelove of her C-Sec precinct pals! The Racing Bar is cheap and bright, and vaguely smells of varren. But hey- at least there’s a happy hour after their shift, and Quintus has a story to tell…
Yeeesss look at my babies looking fab while relaxing after their shift! Love the bar setting and people, look at Chiho’s expression? Captured perfectly ^^
We are considering creating a new social network on a Mastodon instance intended for people in the Dragon Age and Mass Effect fandoms. We need your valuable input!

Ok so I don’t know how many have already tried backing up or exporting their tumblr blog, but in my case it DIDN’T WORK.
First of all, it took forever, both to get the file together (18hrs, I counted) and another 6 to download because of abysmal download rates, I had to keep my computer running overnight. Downloading the .zip to my computer worked, but the file can’t be extracted, rendering this unusable in my case. Tried it twice, failed twice.
In case this happened to any of you, you can try TumblThree.
It’s a programm that can be set to download the complete backlog of whichever Tumblr blog you want. Worked in my case, all contents of my blog are saved, text posts, asks and chatlogs etc. are in reader files which might not be ideal but better than losing stuff, right?
alright nerds, @frenchy-and-the-sea and I decided we could just make oc kiss week happen so we’re making it happen!
starting december 3rd you should all get in on drawing or writing about (or whatever your thing is, the sky is the limit!) your ocs kissing other people’s ocs! it’s great fun, I promise! the tag #ockiss18 has already been used this year so let’s just keep doing that and keep it all in one place 😀
Y’all I get that nsfw/smutty fanfic will probably fly under the radar for the Dec 17 ban.
For now.
Fine.
But the talented artists who create commissions to go along with our stories, or are simply inspired by them, deserve to be here as well. As long as it’s not underage, hate-filled, non-con, etc – you know, actual hurtful stuff – they deserve to share their work as much as I do mine. I write some BDSM fanfic and I’ve commissioned at least one NSFW artwork that is one of my blog’s all-time most popular posts. I enjoy seeing the work posted by artists, many of which I have seen posting alerts that their work has been flagged even when it’s SFW.
Even if this blog isn’t banhammered, I’m not sure I want to be here anymore if we’re losing the art and artists who support our writing by giving it shape, line, and colour to the purity police.
And after they’re done with the artists (and the LGBTQ+, chronic pain, and other communities disproportionately hit by this nonsense) who’s to say they won’t come after writers next?
I dunno. I see all these posts like, “I’m staying until you pry my blog away, I have too much invested here, I made it through other purges” etc and fine good for you, no beef.
But personally? I resent that my being here generates ad revenue for Tumblr. Even if they back off or fix (haha right) their flag system, I’m asking myself: do I really want to be a source of revenue for a company who is happy for neo-Nazis to be here but not nipples. By staying, am I part of the problem by tacitly accepting that fact rather than taking myself and my ad revenue elsewhere?
I really think the answer is yes and I don’t like it. So that means that I’m likely not going to stay.
